About Us

Tianda Institute, a Hong Kong-based strategic studies think tank, is a non-profit research organisation established in 2005 by Mr. Fang Wenquan, founder of Tianda Group.
Embracing the principle of independence, objectivity and practicality, the Institute undertakes policy-relevant research, focusing on long term strategic issues from a macro perspective to address domestic and international concerns. Our research covers a wide range of themes, including economics, politics, social issues, Hong Kong and Macau studies, Taiwan studies, international relations, and national security. The Institute publishes monthly journal Tianda Reports and hosts Tianda Forum.
The Institute strives to explore new ideas and initiatives to boost China’s development and world peace, through extensive researches and intensive debates on critical issues under the new global situation and China’s strategic policies for comprehensively deepening reform.
